LDT’s Boys Dance Workshops continue at the Urdang Academy, London in 2010 from Sunday January 10th. These classes will be for male students aged 11-18, who are serious about pursuing a career in the Theatre and in training at Vocational level at a Dance based or Musical Theatre College in the near or distant future.
The Workshops are specifically focused in Dance Technique, Creative Work and Audition Preparation. Students will have the opportunity to work as part of a team with like-minded individuals and be trained by an all male Teaching Faculty from the professional world of Dance and Theatre in three core subjects of dance:
Classical Ballet
Contemporary Dance
Jazz Dance
You may find yourself wanting to act and sing but need to learn some basic skills before a dance audition for a professional training programme!
You may be relatively experienced but do not get the chance to work with other boys that want to dance on a regular basis!
These classes are for YOU! Each Sunday will be structured according to your age, ability and experience and it will be a fantastic and fun packed day where you will meet new friends, work hard and most importantly - IMPROVE!!!
